If Windows shows a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen, click More info → Run anyway. We’re code-signed as JLS Publishing LLC — a warning on a signed installer means the signature has not yet built up reputation with Microsoft, not that anything is wrong with the file.

Seeing a Windows security warning?

That blue screen ("Windows protected your PC") is Microsoft SmartScreen. Omniscio's installer is code-signed as JLS Publishing LLC. SmartScreen warns about apps it has not seen before, and that judgement is Microsoft's, based on the download reputation of the signing certificate — a certificate does not grant instant trust, and we cannot tell you when (or whether) the warning stops for your copy. What you can check is the signature on the file you downloaded — see below. It's safe to continue:

  1. Click More info.
  2. Click Run anyway.

Want to check first? Right-click the installer → Properties → Digital Signatures — the signer is listed as JLS Publishing LLC.
