Go through my inbox
Hear every session that is waiting on you, say what to do with each one, and let Omniscio carry you to the next — without touching the screen.
Say "go through my inbox", or press the Go through my inbox button (on the desktop it is the small sound-wave icon at the top of your inbox). Omniscio then works your inbox out loud, one session at a time, in exactly the order your inbox shows them.
How a pass works
- It reads the session aloud — a short spoken recap of what that agent finished.
- It listens once for what you want to do with it.
- It acts on the session it just read — never on a different one.
- It says what it did in one short sentence naming the session.
- It moves to the next one by itself. You never have to tap or click to keep going.
What you can say
| You say | What happens | Asks first? |
|---|---|---|
| "reply with …" | Sends your words to that session | Yes — say yes out loud |
| "ask it …" | Asks that session your question | Yes |
| "archive" | Archives it | No — right away |
| "snooze" | Snoozes it | No — right away |
| "skip" | Leaves it and moves on | No |
| "repeat" | Reads that session again | No |
| "stop" | Ends the pass | No |
Nothing irreversible happens by surprise
Anything that sends words to an agent — a reply or a follow-up question — is read back to you and needs a spoken yes first. Silence, "no", or a pause all mean no. Archiving and snoozing are immediate because you can undo both.
On your phone
The same pass runs on the mobile app. Tap to start it, then it is hands-free from there. Your phone needs to stay awake during the pass — if the screen locks or you switch to another app, Omniscio either picks up where it left off when you come back, or tells you it stopped. It never goes quiet without saying so.
Things worth knowing
- It reads in your inbox's order and never shuffles, so it always matches what you see.
- If a session has no spoken recap, Omniscio reads its last message instead — the pass never goes silent.
- If it misses what you said, it asks once more and then moves on rather than getting stuck.
- It never hears itself. The microphone is only open between spoken lines.
- Hold-to-talk dictation wins. While you are dictating with the system-wide hold key, the pass steps aside completely, so dictated words are never mistaken for instructions.
- It never starts on its own. Only the phrase or the button starts it, and "stop" ends it.
Turning it off
Open Settings → Voice and switch off Inbox Voice Walk. The button and the phrase then stop starting a pass.
