Mission Control

Project management built into Omniscio. Boards, items, views, automations, and AI intelligence across all your projects.

Getting started

Off by default. Go to Settings → Built-in Apps → Mission Control and turn on Enable Mission Control to show the PM panel in the sidebar.

Once enabled, Mission Control appears as a virtual hub in the sidebar. Click it to open the board list, create your first board, and start adding items.

Boards and items

A board is a collection of items organized into groups and columns. Each board has its own set of columns (text, numbers, status, people, date, and more), and items can be arranged in groups for visual organization.

Column types

Boards support a range of column types, each with its own editor and display:

Automations

Board-level automation rules with triggers, conditions, and actions. Automations run when an item's column value changes, a due date arrives, or on a schedule. Actions include updating columns, sending notifications, and spawning AI agent sessions with PM context injected.

Choose from 25 built-in presets or build a custom automation from scratch.

Templates

Save a board's structure (columns, groups, automations) as a reusable template. Deploy templates to new boards, and share them via the template gallery.

Session linking

Sessions can be linked to PM items. A linked session shows a PM item chip in the session header. Start a session directly from a PM item to auto-inject board context into the agent's briefing, or link an existing session at any time.

Approval workflows

Define multi-step approval workflows that trigger when an item's status reaches a specific value. Each step can require one or more approvers, and the workflow advances automatically as approvals come in.

AI Intelligence

Three layers work together to give you AI-powered insight:

CLI access

Agents can read boards, create items, update columns, manage dashboards, and query predictive analytics via the CLI control server. All PM routes are under the /pm/ prefix.

Import

Import data from Monday.com, Jira, Linear, Asana, ClickUp, Notion, Airtable, Trello, CSV, Excel, and Google Sheets via the 5-stage import pipeline. Open a board and click the import button to start the wizard.

Importing from a connected platform also copies the names and email addresses of people in that account, so the wizard asks you to confirm that before it starts. Those details stay on your computer and are removed when you delete the board. Importing a CSV, Excel or Google Sheets file does not ask, because it only reads the file you chose.
