Cloud storage integrations (Dropbox and OneDrive)
Omniscio's connected cloud-storage panels bring Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive into the sidebar, so you can browse, search, download, upload and manage the files in your own account without leaving the app. You connect each account with your own sign-in, and the saved token is kept encrypted in your operating system's credential store.
What it is
This area covers the file panels for the cloud-storage accounts you connect to Omniscio — Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive. Each one plugs into the sidebar as its own space with a file browser, so your files live next to your sessions instead of in a separate browser tab.
Once an account is connected, you can browse folders and files, read and download a file, search by name, and check how much space is left in the account. You can also change what is there: upload a file, create a folder, make a share link, and move, copy, rename or delete an item.
A third file panel, Google Drive, belongs to the Google family and is reached through the shared Connect Google consent rather than a sign-in of its own.
Where to find it
- Dropbox — connect it in Settings → Dropbox (turn Dropbox on, then click Connect Dropbox). Once connected, its file browser opens from the Dropbox entry in the sidebar.
- OneDrive — connect it in Settings → OneDrive (turn OneDrive on, paste a Microsoft Client ID, then click Connect). Once connected, its file browser opens from the OneDrive entry in the sidebar.
- Google Drive — connect Google in Settings → Google, turn it on in Settings → Google Drive, then use the Drive panel or ask an agent in chat.
How it behaves
- Dropbox file browser — browse, search, upload, download, rename, copy a shared link and delete files from the sidebar panel, with breadcrumb navigation and folder creation. It connects through Dropbox's own OAuth consent and stores the account token encrypted. See Dropbox integration.
- OneDrive file browser — browse, upload, create folders, rename, delete, move, copy, share and search files. It signs in with your own Microsoft account (a client ID you create in Azure) using the read-and-write files scope, and its browser appears in the sidebar once connected. See OneDrive integration.
- The shared sidebar shape — both panels are built as channel adapters, the same shared layer that gives every connected service a space in the sidebar with a conversation list, a reader and a status. See Unified channel system.
- Google Drive, for comparison — the third file panel, agent-driven management of your Google Drive, reached through the one Connect Google consent. See Google Drive integration.
- The shared Google consent — Calendar, Drive and Sheets sit behind a single Connect Google click, which is where the Drive panel's sign-in lives. See Google integrations.
