Engy Provider
Engy as a DeepSeek reseller: DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, V4.1 Flash 1017 and V4 Flash served by Engy on your own Engy key, reached straight on Engy's own Claude-compatible endpoint. How to switch it on, how to make it serve your DeepSeek sessions, what each model costs, and what to know.
Engy resells DeepSeek's Flash models at a low per-token price. In Omniscio it is a DeepSeek reseller: you still pick the DeepSeek model you want, and Engy is one of the companies that can answer it. You pay Engy directly on your own Engy key.
The models
| Model | Input | Cached input | Output (per 1M tokens) | Context | Reads images |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (default) | $0.03 | $0.006 | $0.12 | 1M | Yes |
| DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 | $0.03 | $0.006 | $0.12 | 1M | Yes |
| DeepSeek V4 Flash | $0.045 | $0.009 | $0.09 | 1M | No |
Rates are Engy's own /v1/models prices, checked on 2026-10-22.
- Cached input bills at a fifth of the input rate. An agent re-sends the same long instructions every turn; Engy reports the repeated part as cached, and Omniscio records it at the cached rate.
- Engy also sells GLM, Kimi and Qwen models. Omniscio offers only its DeepSeek models today.
Switching it on
- Add your Engy API key: Settings → Accounts → the Engy card. Keys start with
sk-engy-and come from your Engy dashboard at engy.ai. - Turn on Allow Engy sessions on the same card. It is off by default.
- Add an Engy row to the DeepSeek list in Settings → Accounts → Who pays & who serves. Put it first to make Engy serve every DeepSeek session, or lower down to use it only when the rows above it can't serve.
Engy never appears in the session's Provider dropdown. Like every reseller, it serves the DeepSeek model you pick through the DeepSeek list (Switching providers).
How it connects
- Straight to Engy. A DeepSeek session served by Engy talks to Engy's own Claude-compatible
endpoint (
api.engy.ai) with your Engy key, the same way a DeepInfra row does. It does not need Omniscio's local model proxy. - Costs match the bill. Because the connection is direct, the cached text Engy reports is counted, so Omniscio's cost figures for an Engy session match what Engy charges.
- No key, no Engy. A row with no saved key is passed over and the next row serves; your session is never sent somewhere else on Engy's behalf.
- Not in the automatic fallback ladder. Engy is left out of the usage cascade until it has been vetted there, the same as RunInfra and InferX.
- Cloud sessions reach Engy through the key relay to your computer, not Omniscio's signed gateway.
Your data
- Prompts, files and tool results go to Engy when it serves a session. It is listed in the subprocessors inventory (row 96).
- The key is stored encrypted and is never sent to the interface. It is handed to the local Claude Code process for the session it serves, as every direct reseller key is.
