PM Onboarding Features (import + post-import flows)

What it is

Three in-development PM onboarding features for users migrating from other platforms.

Three related features that smooth the path for users coming from other project management tools:

Persona-C Import Entry

A first-run entry screen for users migrating from other platforms (Trello, Asana, Jira, Linear, Notion, ClickUp). Shows multi-select platform cards and auto-applies a platform-specific preset to each imported board (e.g. Monday gets 'operations', Jira gets 'engineering-jira', Trello gets 'trello'; multi-platform imports default to 'operations'). Gated as pm-persona-c-import (pmPersonaCImportEnabled).

Discovery Callouts

Weekly personalized callouts that surface cross-tool connections and automation offers based on Mission Control usage patterns. This is the same feature documented separately in the PM Discovery Callouts page. Gated as pm-discovery-callouts (pmDiscoveryCalloutsEnabled).

Post-Import Home

A personalized Home screen shown after a board import. Displays an imported-boards grid, a smart insight card computed from real data, and tailored onboarding checklist items. One-shot -- tracked by pmPostImportHomeSeen. Gated as pm-post-import-home (pmPostImportHomeEnabled).

Where to find it

All three are in-development, each gated behind its own unreleased feature flag. All use isUnreleasedFeatureVisible (never raw setting reads).

Persona-C appears as a first-run entry screen for someone arriving from another platform, Post-Import Home appears as the Home screen after a board import, and Discovery Callouts arrive weekly.

How it behaves

• All three features are designed to work together as a cohesive onboarding journey for migrating users.

For agents

• Persona-C auto-applies a platform-specific preset via applyPreset(db, boardId, PLATFORM_TO_PRESET[platform]) -- coordinated with the feature-profiles system.
