What it is
This is part 2 of the Journal (freeform and guided reflection) page. It covers how Journal stores entries on your computer, how the entry list, search and the open entry are loaded, and the reasons behind those choices.
Where to find it
Journal is a virtual project in the left sidebar once it is turned on, and the parent page walks through turning it on and using it. Everything on this page is under the hood: there is no separate screen for it.
How it behaves
For how Journal behaves when you use it — writing, guided replies, the switches, cost and privacy — read the parent page. The sections below describe the parts underneath that behaviour.
