Tasks (personal outliner — removed)
Tasks — the original personal outliner — was removed from Omniscio. This page survives only so older links still resolve, and it points at the current keyboard outliner, a separate feature with its own table, store, channels and mirror file.
What it is
This feature was removed. The original Tasks v1 personal outliner — its virtual project (
__tasks__), the/tasks/*CLI routes, theTASKS_CHANGEDIPC channels, and the<userData>/tasks.mdmarkdown mirror — no longer exists. (ThetasksSQLite table itself is a different story: it is still created by migration v184 insrc/main/db/incremental-migrations.tsand nothing drops it.) The renderer views (TasksView/TaskOutliner/TaskRow), the IPC handlers, the CLI routes, and the mirror writer were all deleted.
The current keyboard outliner is Tasks — a separate feature with its own table, store, IPC channels, and mirror file. Its AI planning runs on generation-agnostic shared modules under src/shared/ (ipc-schemas/tasks-v2*.ts, ipc-response-map/tasks-v2.ts, integrations/tasks-v2.ts, push-event-schemas/tasks-events-common.ts, types/settings/tasks-v2-settings.ts); its service layer is src/main/services/tasks/.
This page is retained only as a redirect so existing references (the Tasks Outliner postmortem, the opt-in-toggles postmortem, and the omniscio-control skill) still resolve.
Where to find it
Nowhere — the feature no longer exists, so there is no panel, menu or shortcut that opens it. The outliner that replaced it is its own project in the sidebar.
How it behaves
Nothing to describe: this page carries no configuration, no screen and no switches. It is a redirect, not a feature, and nothing in the running app changes when you read it.
