The "learn the app" tour — and the card that opens it

When you finish setup, Omniscio offers you a short hosted walkthrough of how the app works — sessions, the inbox, and how a reply starts an agent. It arrives as a **"Want a quick tour?" inbox card**: one click opens the tour in its own window, and the card clears itself. The tour does not open by itself, and nothing waits on it.

What it is

A short, hosted walkthrough of the app — the same kind of guided page a product puts together once and links to everywhere. It runs in its own window, owned by Omniscio, sandboxed away from the rest of the app, and it is closed when you are done (or when you navigate off it to the marketing site at the end).

It is offered, never forced.

Where to find it

  • The card. After you finish setup, a "Want a quick tour?" card appears near the top of your inbox, beside the two welcome cards. Take the tour opens it; the card then clears itself, because it has done its job.
  • The offer is one-time. Once the card has been raised — whether you used it or dismissed it — it does not come back.
  • Later. If you dismissed it, the tour page is still reachable from the app's own help surfaces; nothing is taken away by dismissing the card.

How it behaves

It no longer opens by itself

The tour used to open the instant setup finished. That meant a brand-new user's first seconds in the app were an external page taking over the screen, before they had looked at anything at all. It is now opened by one click, and the click is the card.

Nothing waits on a tour you did not take

The post-setup suggestions — the guided mission cards, the optional setup-assistant card — wait only while the tour is actually open. If you ignore or dismiss the card, those arrive normally; they are never parked behind a window you chose not to open.

If you do open the tour, the suggestions hold until you finish it — or for a few hours, whichever comes first — so they do not slide in over the thing you asked to see. A lost "I'm done" signal (the app being killed while the window was open) can never hold them longer than that.

The orders that arrive together

A brand-new user's inbox opens on the same few cards every time, in a fixed order, so nothing is missed by luck:

  1. Welcome to Omniscio! — the welcome/tour video.
  2. Your free starter agents — what the prepared agents below them are.
  3. Want a quick tour? — this card.
  4. A note from the founding team — a one-time hello.

These are pinned above the rest, which also keeps them out of the folded "System" section at the bottom of the inbox — a folded section shows no rows at all, so anything a brand-new user needs to see is pinned instead.
