Good Things Plugin
Recognize a teammate right from Omniscio. Pick one or more people, choose a category, write a note, and the entry lands in the JLS Trading Co Good Things tracker with a Team Chat notification so the whole team sees it.
How it works
- Open the Good Things panel from the sidebar (star icon).
- Sign in with your JLS Trading Co Google account. The plugin authenticates against the
jls-appsFirebase project; it never touches your Omniscio credentials. - Fill in the form: your name (auto-filled if you set a default in plugin settings), who you are recognizing (one or more people), a category, and a short note about what they did.
- Submit. The entry is sent to the Good Things tracker via the JLS Apps Netlify endpoint. If Team Chat posting is on (the default), a notification is posted so the team can see the recognition.

The Firebase web key in the secret scanner
The plugin webview embeds the jls-apps Firebase project's web client key for its Google sign-in. A Firebase web API key is a public client identifier by design (access is gated by Firebase security rules), so scripts/lib/extra-secret-patterns.mjs allow-lists that exact key and the secret scan does not flag the plugin.
Organization requirement
This plugin is available only to workspaces belonging to the jlstradingco organization.
Team Chat routing
The plugin registers a good-things alert route source in the Operations group. Users can configure which Team Chat channel receives Good Things notifications via the standard alert routing settings.
